FORMER Republican vice-president Enoch Kavindele has said President Rupiah Banda has demonstrated good leadership skills since he ascended to power and deserves another term of office.
Mr Kavindele said in Lusaka yesterday that Mr Banda had worked hard to develop the country since he took over the presidency and appealed to Zambians to consider giving him more time so that he takes the development projects he had initiated to another level.
He said since he became Head of State, President Banda had initiated several development projects being executed countrywide.
“President Banda deserves another term in office because since he took over office he has worked well and diligently.
“He has initiated several development projects which are being executed. The Zambian people are now seeing more development than never before,” he said.
Mr Kavindele said he was impressed with President Banda’s style of leadership. Most of the people he had talked to shared a similar view.
He enjoyed the way the president had continued to maintain national peace and stability currently prevailing in Zambia.
