Mogadishu — Heavy rains that lasted more than 12 hours have badly impacted the transportation and people movement in lawless Mogadishu, the capital of war-torn Somalia.
Bus fares in Mogadishu skyrocketed as some of the main roads were filled with rain water.
Also, the rains have harsh effects to drought displaced Somalis who have been flooding into Mogadishu in the few days.
Some of the displaced people told Shabelle Media Network that they don’t have shelters to hide themselves and their children from cool and the rains.
