You will soon be called upon to donate underwear to poor girls as part of the campaign to provide the girls with sanitary towels.
Mercy Musomi from the Girl Child Network says the 300 million shillings set aside in this year’s budget for sanitary towels has no provision for other personal necessities.
She says panties are equally important in the hygiene of school going girls. The Underwear campaign will be launched soon and you will get details of where you can drop off your donations.
