The Chairman of the parliamentary security committee Fred Kapondi has asked the US government to share drug trafficking evidence Kilome MP Harun Mwau with the Kenya government.
Kapondi says it may help local investigators build a case against Mwau.
This follows sentiments by US ambassador to Kenya Scott Gration that investigations findings the US holds against him are an internal matter of American authorities.
The US has declared Mwau a Drugs Kingpin, a status equivalent a most wanted criminal in the US fight against narcotics trafficking.
