AN UP AND coming hard-tackling defender of Gomoa Fetteh Feynord Fooball Academy stands the chance of exhibiting his talent in the premiership next football season.

The exploits of Basit, who is a pillar at the rear of Gomoa Fetteh Feynord, is said to have caught the attention of the technical and management teams of premiership campaigners Ashantigold FC.

Basit, according to reports, is young, disciplined, hard working and very hungry for success and this is said to have stimulated the miners’ interest in him.

Ashantigold FC management has so far met with their counterparts from Feynord Football Academy for the immediate release of the player, a source said.

According to him, talks between the two parties so far looked very positive but no concrete deal has been reached between Ashantigold FC and Feynord as at the time of filing the story.
