Huambo — Angolan artist Vitoriana Navimbi has urged her counterparts to contribute to the recovery of ethic and moral values of the Angolan society.
Vitoriana Navimbi, also chief of Action Division of Cultural Department in central Huambo province made this appeal at the opening ceremony of a workshop on professional politeness of artist, held on Saturday in Huambo city.
According to her, the retrieval of moral values should also reflect in composition of music lyrics, dance, theatre and poetry.
Presided over by the secretary-general of National Union of Artists and Composers (UNAC), Belmiro Carlos, the event gathers artists from districts of Huambo, Caála, Bailundo, Mungo, Ekunha, Tchicala-Tcholohanga, Catchiungo, Ucuma, Longonjo, Tchindjendje and Londuimbali.
