Marseille midfielder Lucho Gonzalez is wanted by English, Italian and Spanish clubs, his agent Federico Simonian has told Goal.com.

The 30-year-old has been linked with both Malaga and Roma, both of whom are said to be keeping watch over him.

Speaking to Goal.com, Simonian said: “I cannot say too much for the moment, but there are teams in Europe who want Lucho. They are in England, Spain and Italy.”

Reports have suggested Chelsea and Villarreal are also keen on the Argentine on the back of Malaga’s interest.

Malaga were said to have made a €6 million £5.4m offer for Gonzalez, but Didier Deschamps’ outfit want more.

Gonzalez joined Marseille in 2009 from Porto and he is tied to the Stade Velodrome club until 2013.
