Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has urged his sought-after team-mates, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy, to stay at the Emirates.

After Fabregas failed to rule out a move to Barcelona and following reports of an improved bid from the Catalan club, the midfielder’s future remains undecided.

Goal.com confirmed on Friday that Clichy is set to complete a £7 million move to Manchester City, while Manchester United and Manchester City are fighting for the £20m signing of Nasri.

Wilshere told Sky Sports News: “Obviously we want them to stay.

“They are part of Arsenal and big players for the club so we want them to stay, but we will see.

“I am going back for pre-season tomorrow and we will see.”
