Freetown — Sierra Leone’s striking duo Ibrahim Tetteh and Mohamed Poborsky Bangura again came to the rescue of their Swedish club, AIK Solna after the pair hit the target against Norrkoping FC in the Swedish Allsvenskan league.
Two weeks back, the striking pair scored both goals to help AIK defeat Malamo FF 2-0 and on Wednesday they both teamed up again to defeat Norrkoping 3-0.
However, the AIK fans suffered defeat last weekend but the Sierra Leonean pair got the three goals to bring smiles again on the faces of AIK Solna officials and fans in front of their 11,078 spectators at the RÃ¥sunda Football Stadium.
Tetteh opened the scoring in the 29th minute and doubled the score in the 34th minute. Three minutes later, he provided the assist for Poborsky who rounded the score line to 3-0.
The brace from Tetteh take his tally to seven goals and remains AIK’s top scorer, currently lying third behind Ranegie of Hacken and Hysen of IFK Gotenburg in the golden boot race.
Poborsky’s goal takes his tally to four. AIK are now 6th position in the log with 20 points from 13 matches.
