Competence, credibility and capacity to deliver services to Nigerians were the major criteria that guided President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in selecting nominees for Ministerial appointment, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator Anyim Pius Anyim said yesterday.
Senator Anyim stated this when he received members of the Senators’ Forum who paid a courtesy call on him in his office in Abuja.
The Senators were led by their Chairperson Senator Khairat Abdulrazaq-Gwadabe.
He explained further that these qualities were paramount in the mind of the President while he was considering the nominees because of his strong desire to have a cabinet that “would advance the cause of solving national challenges.”
