THE second half of the MTC Rugby Premiership will kick off this weekend with three derbies on the cards on Saturday.
In Rehoboth, current log leaders, Reho Falcon will take on second placed Rehoboth in a match that promises a lot of excitement.
In the first leg, Rehoboth suffered at the hands of the Falcons who beat the 2009 league champions 44-26.
Since then both teams have not lost a match and Falcons have 36 points while Rehoboth trail with 28 points.
Falcons have the edge on Rehoboth as they also won both of last season’s derbies.
In Windhoek, United will play defending champions Wanderers in Pionierspark in the second derby of the weekend.
In the first round of the premiership, United beat Wanderers 45-16 in what was the first upset of the season.
Wanderers have however so far had a terrible season and have not won a single match and are lying at the bottom of the log with only two points. United on the other hand are third on the log with 24 points after they won four of their seven matches so far.
In Khomasdal, fifth placed Western Suburbs will host Unam who are currently seventh on the log.
In their first match of the season, Unam succumbed to Suburbs 33-16 at Unam and will be hoping to collect some points. Unam have 12 points while Suburbs are on 16 points.
Mariental (23) who are fourth on the log will host coastal-based sixth placed Kudus (13) in the South.
Kudus lost 27-19 to Mariental when the played each other in the first leg.
All matches will be played at 15h15.
