Luanda — The phenomenon of “Children prostitution” is increasing in Angola, with emphasis in the provinces of Luanda and Cunene.
This was said to ANGOP in Luanda by the head of the National Department of Child Protection of the National Children Institute (INAC) Paulo Kalesi.
Speaking about prostitution, Paulo Kalesi said that this phenomenon is increasing in the country with the highest incidence in Luanda and Cunene provinces.
He explained that during the campaigns undertaken by INAC in order to end this practice, children claim to have entered the prostitution due to poverty at home.
