Malabo — The extraordinary session of the Council of Ministers of the African Union (AU) is starting on Tuesday in Malabo city in Equatorial Guinea with the participation of the Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister, Georges Chicoti.
The meeting is preceding the 17th conference of the African Union, where heads of state and governments will analyse the reports out of its 19th ordinary session of the executive council which questions the impartiality of the International Criminal Court (ICC) regarding assessment and formulation of some accusations.
Speaking to Angolan press, Georges Chicoti said that AU wants greater co-ordination to avoid that ICC have a selective character in the assessment and formulation of accusations.
The conference happened under the motto “Accelerate the Youth’s Skill for the Sustainable Development”.
17th conference of the African Union will take place from 30 June to 1 July will gather heads of state and governments of the current African 50 countries.
Guinea Bissau, Madagascar and Niger are suspended due the coups d’état in the respective countries.
