Swansea City settle legal dispute with Ipswich Town over Tamas Priskin loan deal

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has said that all legal issues have been resolved with Ipswich Town.

Ipswich chief executive Simon Clegg had last week threatened legal action against Swansea over alleged unpaid payments due to the club over the loan of Tamas Priskin at the end of last season.

Clegg alleged that Swansea had tried to change the details of the loan agreement when Priskin suffered an injury and then stopped payments.

Jenkins denied any wrongdoing and claimed that all differences would be settled on Monday, with the issue now resolved.

He told BBC Sport Wales: “There’s no issue at all with Ipswich.

“Everything is fine between us and we move on.

“All our differences have been resolved today and we’ve concluded on all matters to do with Tamas Priskin being on loan with us.

“We’ve got a good relationship with Ipswich and I get along well with Simon Clegg, the chief executive.”
