Narok Boys High school showed their might when they edged out hard fighting Japanese side Samurai FC 1-0 during the second edition of the Narok football tournament at Narok University College sports ground. The students had to wait until the 20th minute when prolific striker Samson Marona scored the all important goal after a solo run. Enroute to the final, Narok drubbed Rongena 3-0 in a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw while Samurai thrashed Ranger from
Melili area 3-1. The day long tournament was sponsored by Ewaso Nyiro South Development Authority (ENSDA), Narok District Hospital and Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The aim of the tournamentwas to create awareness among the youth on the dangers of HIV/Aids.
