Mogadishu — The United Nations Political Office for Somalia on Thursday invited some Somali traditional elders from Mogadishu and Bosaso port town to discuss with office about Somalia situation.
Ahmed Diriye Ali, the spokesman of Hawiye traditional elders told Shabelle just minutes before flying from Mogadishu airport that they will tell UNPOS the interests of Somali people and their country.
Mr. Diriye added that they will listen to UPOS introductions and they will take if it’s useful for Somalis.
He said the delegation is consisted of 18 members from some of Somalia regions.
