A three Judge Bench will hear a petition challenging the suitability of Keriako Tobiko as Director of Public Prosecutions. Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has set up the team after Civil society groups sort to block Tobiko’s appointment questioning his integrity.
Representatives from the Youth Parliament and The Youth League together with a team of lawyers lodged copies of the petition this morning with the Registrar of the High Court hoping to establish the names of the judges.
