Tunisian international defender Ammar Jemal’s performances in Uefa Champions League qualifying and the Europa League last season seem to have turned heads as the Young Boys player is reportedly attracting interest from a slew of clubs.

Stoke City, Fulham, and Trabzonspor are all chasing the player, according to Blick, while Jemal was recently a guest on Tunisian state television’s Dimanche Sport where he revealed that Stade Brestois have also inquired about his availability.

The 24-year-old just completed his first season in the Swiss Axpo League during which he scored five goals in 26 matches while exhibiting great efficiency and predatory instincts on set pieces, especially for a defender.

Jemal has been linked with Stoke before but the attention from the other aforementioned clubs is more recent.

The former Etoile Sportive du Sahel youth product, who can play at either centre or left-back, has already made clear that he wants to leave Switzerland but will need to find a destination that suits him and, more importantly, a price that suits his current employers, Young Boys, with whom he has a contract that runs until 2014.
