Mogadishu — The president of Somali interim federal government is to name new prime minister in the hours to come.
After lengthy consultative meetings with Somali leaders including parliamentarians and clan elders, Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, the president of Somalia republic said Abdiwali Mohamed Ali, who was the deputy prime minister, could be named as the next prime minister.
If Mr. Ali gets elected by the president, he will replace Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmajo, Somali American Educated who resigned from his post of premier days ago to comply with the so-called Kampala Accord.
