Mogadishu — Some of Mogadishu’s internally displaced people on Tuesday accused Somali government’s Benadir administration of failing to help them.
The IDPs mentioned that they live in a very desperate living condition as they dwell in the areas under the control of Somali interim federal government.
A woman in one of IDPs Camps in the seaside Mogadishu tells Shabelle Radio that she lives in a small hut made of old cloths and sheets, adding that she didn’t get any help from Benadir regional administration for more than eight months,
She said that aid food which is destined for the displaced people are always corrupted and diverted from the needy people.
However, the Benadir authorities have not given any response about the accusation emanating from the needy displaced people so far.
