The Nsukka Zonal Citizens, Abuja (NZOCA), from Enugu north senatorial district of Enugu State has called on President Goodluck Jonathan to appoint a credible person of the zone as a minister into his government.

Speaking yesterday in Abuja through its vice president, Chief Engr. Dan Akogwu, NZOCA congratulated the president on his victory at 2011 polls, pointing out that the zone voted en mass for him ‘because of their belief that he will bring justice and equity after many years of neglect’.

He thanked Enugu State governor Sullivan Chime for nominating some Enugu north indigenes for ministerial slots. “We are aware that Dr. Mrs. Sally Adukwu-Bolujoko, the president of the Nigerian Institute of Management, who also served as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council, is among those submitted by Governor Chime. Adukwu is an excellent woman. She is the kind that Jonathan should use to strengthen the 35% affirmative action,” he said.

“Engr. Vita Abbah, Enugu State chairman of the PDP, is also nominated. He is a renowned industrialist who has won himself several honours,” he added.
