THE National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Adamawa State chapter has declared support for the re-nomination of Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong as Minister in the new federal executive cabinet.
State Chairman of NYCN, Comrade Sunday Kadiri Mai Wale and Secretary, Comrade Isa Labaran, in a letter addressed to President Goodluck Jonathan described Hong as a capable hand who deserves to be given another ministerial slot having served diligently well in the previous government.
“To the entire youth of Adamawa State, Dr. Aliyu Idi Hong has been a close and regular compatriot whose sole interest lies in the wellbeing and development of our teeming youth,” the statement said, adding “we are solidly in support of the ministerial nomination of no other person than Dr. Idi Hong.”
