Nairobi — AFC Leopards are the biggest spenders so far in the current transfer window, spending over Sh700,00 to acquire new players after sacking nine players last month.

Leopards have spend Sh350,000 to sign striker Mike Baraza from Ulinzi Stars and Sh200,000 to bring in Western Stima forward Francis Chinjili into their stable.

The 13 times Kenya Premier League champions have also signed former Tusker FC, defender Robert Syongoh (24) and striker Oscar Kadenge (35).

Collins Kisuya, a defender from Ulinzi Stars has been handed a Sh120,000 personal signing fee to end his one year deal at the military side halfway.

Leopards has also brought in Burundian Naimana Jonas.

The six new signings take up the slots of six officially released players – strikers Dimonde Selenga (now at Gor Mahia) and Itubu Imbem (Tusker), midfielders Evans Wandera (Bandari) and Laban Tsimonjera and two defenders, Israel Ogude and Douglas Okumu.

Gor gave new signings Dimonde Selenge and Wycliffe Ochomo playing time in the weekend against Chemelil in Nakuru. Gor won 1-0.
