The dispute over the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret has now moved to the High Court.
A human rights group has filed a suit at the High Court in Kitale to block medical services Minister Anyang Nyong’o from re-appointing Harun Mengech as CEO of the hospital as directed by Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The Center for Human Rights and Democracy is demanding that due process be followed in appointing a CEO.
