Ghana youth player Charles Boateng will leave Accra on Tuesday night for talks with FC Rouen after the French third-tier side rejected offers for his services.
German side Kaiserslautern and Greek top flight side Iraklis have had their offers turned down.
Rouen are demanding 400,000 euros which baffles the former Nania FC player.
“When I joined the club last season, it was agreed that I’m taking no contract fees but when a club approaches me, they will allow me to leave. In December last year, Kaiserslautern wanted to sign me but couldn’t meet the asking price,” Boateng told GHANAsoccernet.com
“I have been informed that Iraklis have also made an offer and it has been turned down. This is absurd and I think I have to let them know I’m not willing to stay with them no more. I must move on.”
Boateng was named in the provisional squad for the All Africa Games qualifier against Nigeria.
