Ondjiva — At least 46 vehicles that worked illegally as taxis were seized by the police, during an operation dubbed Azul e Branco, over the last week, in Ombadja, Namacunde and Kwanhama districts, southern Cunene Province, ANGOP has learnt.
According to the spokesman of the corporation, Carlos dos Santos, said the main infringements are lack of license for taxi practice, payment of car insurance and bad state of the vehicles.
During the mentioned period were recorded two deaths and seven injuries, as well as damages worth 224,000 kwanzas.
