Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has spoken of his delight at beginning next season at home, and he is hopeful they can continue their home form from last term.

Blackburn begin at home to Wolves, and Kean wants to see his team continue their four-game unbeaten run when they welcome the Midlands club on August 13th on the opening day of the 2011-12 season.

Kean told the official club’s website:  “To be at home is great and obviously a little unusual to be pitched up against the team we played on the final day of last season – a similar result would do very nicely!

“We finished on a real high in May and we want to hit the same levels from the word go next season. It is great for the fans that we are at home first and we have to make the most of it.”

It is the third consecutive year that Blackburn begin at home, and their game against Wolves is a repeat of their final game of last season, won 3-2 by Blackburn to secure their Premier League status.
