Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd has yet to decide his future after being linked with a host of Premier League clubs.

Bothroyd is out of contract at the end of this month and would be available on a free transfer with Everton, Newcastle and Sunderland thought to be interested in the striker.

Bothroyd’s agent Sky Andrew told Talksport: “Jay has just come back from holiday. It’s an exciting time for him because he has spent three years turning his life around.

He added: “He’s in a good position; he’s a Bosman free transfer. There’s been quite a lot of interest and now he is back I’m actually just going to sit down with him and try and decide what is the best route to go down.”

The former Wolves striker is thought to be looking for Premier League football next season after Cardiff failed to gain promotion, losing in the playoff semi-finals against Reading.

The 29-year–old won his first cap for England senior team in November losing 2-1 in a friendly against France.
