Santos director of football Pedro Luis Nunes has threatened to report European clubs that unlawfully try to contact Neymar, or his agent, to Fifa.

The 19-year-old has been in sparkling form for club and country and is preparing for Brazil’s upcoming Copa America defence.

The striker has been linked with a big money move to both Chelsea and Real Madrid and Nunes is adamant no agreement has been reached with any potential suitors.

“There is no agreement between any club and Neymar. I need to make that clear. There is no firm proposal for him and it is just speculation circulating the market,” he told reporters in Italy.

“European clubs have a habit of talking only with the representatives of the players. And if a club had spoken directly with the agent of Neymar and not Santos, we would file a formal complaint to Fifa.”

Italian agent Ernesto Bronzetti had previously said a move to the Bernabeu was all but done, whilst the player’s own agent Wagner Ribeiro stated that if the Brazilian forward was his son, he would want him to move to Jose Mourinho’s side.

Despite this, Nunes dismissed any link to Real Madrid.

“I do not know if they have sat with the agent or the president. Any club that wants Neymar will have to sit exclusively with us,” he added.

“Otherwise, we’ll understand it as harassment and report them to Fifa, as we did with Inter and Paulo Henrique Ganso. We have no intention of selling any of our stars.”
