The agent of Roma striker Mirko Vucinic has revealed he has travelled to England to discuss the transfer of his client, and has also met with Juventus officials.

The Motenegro forward has had a troubled time at the Stadio Olimpico, and looks likely to move in the transfer window, something Alessandro Lucci is trying to broker.

“I went to England to take stock of the situation,” the player’s representative told Sky Sports.

“But I have not spoken only of Mirko, I have the credentials of many players. The interest of some English clubs in him goes back some time,” he continued.

Reports in England have stated that Blackburn Rovers are especially interested in the 27-year-old, and are ready to meet the Italian club’s £10 million asking price, but a move to Juventus has also been linked, and Lucci admits meeting with the Turin club.

“It is true, I had a meeting with the leaders of Juve, but we talked of many players. They have asked for information on Vucinic, but they did other players also,” he stated.

Before any potential transfer can take place however, the representative must meet new coach Luis Enrique, and the powers that be in the Italian capital.

“It’s an interim step, we must first understand whether his relationship with Roma is truly finished, we are still in a phase of study.

“He is very happy in the capital, and has also bought a home. The desire was to remain for as long as possible, but in football it happens that somethings can change,” he concluded.
