Street children should be handed over to foster parents instead of being given away to children homes according to a child rights activist.
Brian Weke from the CRADLE says this will ensure the street children grow in a family set up and experience what it feels like to be in a normal family. He says the government needs to adopt such a mechanism instead of focusing on rehabilitation centers which are not working.
