MANCHESTER UNITED will kick off the new season with an away trip at Roy Hodgson’s West Brom on August 13. The champions then face two cracking home games with the visits of Tottenham and Arsenal to Old Trafford.

And if Sir Alex Ferguson’s men enter the final day of the season needing a win to clinch the title, they’ll need to overcome old boy Steve Bruce’s Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on May 13.

Arsenal have a tough start at Newcastle — scene of last season’s thrilling 4-4 draw — then welcome Liverpool to the Emirates before travelling to Old Trafford.Chelsea also face an away day to kick off their campaign, travelling to Stoke, then have West Brom at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool’s new £20million signing Jordan Henderson could make his debut at home to former club Sunderland at Anfield. The visitors then have the small matter of a northeast derby at home to Newcastle the following weekend.

Newly-promoted Swansea have an awkward Premier league debut at Man City and then face former boss Roberto Martinez and Wigan in their first home game.

QPR kick off at home to Bolton while Norwich travel to Wigan.
