Freetown — Trelleborg FF may have found the right place in Sierra Leone. Club Director Lasse Larsson said he saw many exciting talents during his recent visit in the country.
“I will recommend to the Board that we offer two, three players trials,” he says to eurosport.se.
Together with Kalmar FF’s sporting director Svante Samuelsson and agent Patrick Mork, Larsson has just returned to Sweden after a week in Sierra Leone.
“Football-wise it’s been very exciting. It abounds with talents born in the early 1990s. Many will play in Europe in the future,” says Larsson.
A first step may well be the Allsvenskan and Trelleborg. Lasse Larsson has at least a number of names on his list.
“Now I will write a trip report to the board where I will be recommending that two, three players are offered here.
“It is not easy to get all the papers in place. They have no Embassy. I would like to send an invitation to the boys as quickly as possible, but if it takes two weeks or ten weeks I do not know. It could be this summer or it will be the next transfer window.”
