Super Eagles and VVV Venlo winger Ahmed Musa Wednesday afternoon hit the camp of the Dream Team V ahead of their must win Olympic Games qualifier against the Vijana Stars of Tanzania.
The player, who was in action in the Super Eagles last two games against Argentina and Ethiopia, was in high spirits on arrival to the Dream team camp.
“I am excited to be here. I have been speaking with the coach. I am here for business and am good to go,” he said on arrival.
The former Kano Pillars star is expected to begin training with the team this morning and the arrival of Musa has taken the number of players in camp to 26.
Coach Austin Eguavoen his expected to drop some players after the team’s last training session tomorrow.
Meanwhile AC Milan of Italy winger, Nnamdi Oduamadi on Tuesday night departed the team’s camp for Lagos to get further medical attention following the ankle injury he suffered in training on Monday.
“I will be back on Thursday (today) and I have no doubt what so ever that I will play against Tanzania,” he assured.
Nigeria must beat Tanzania with at least two goals without conceding to make for the final phase of the Olympic qualifiers in December.
The Nigeria/Tanzania Match kicks off by 4pm, with gate fees placed N700 for cover seat while tickets for the popular stand is at N200.
Players’ presently in camp are: Dele Ajiboye, Theophilus Afelokhia, Olufemi Thomas, Suswan Terna, Emmanuel Anyanwu, Usman Amoda, Nurudeen Orelesi, Obiora Nwankwo, Harmony Ikande, Solomon Okpako, Saka Ayo, Eneji Otekpa, Lukman Haruna, Kingsley Udoh, Dimaku Tochukwu, Edet Ibok and Sone Aluko.
Others are: Azuka Izu, Osas Okoro, Maduabuchi Josiah, Ekigho Ehiosun, Kabiru Sanusi, Babatunde Mikel, Oseni Ganiyu, Barnabas Imenger.
