The founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Henrietta V. Kandakai Foundation International, Mrs. Henrietta V. Kandakai, is in Liberia to make more contributions to less fortunate kids, the elderly, widows, and victims of negative events as well as to the sporting sector of Liberia.
The Liberian philanthropist, who is in the country on vacation with her husband, is expected to distribute assorted items to needy Liberians in Grand Cape Mount County this weekend.
Mrs. Kandakai visited the country sometimes ago during which she made donations to less fortunate Liberians, media institutions, and the Liberian national soccer team.
Her foundation also hosted a one-day charity soccer tournament between Mighty Barrolle and IE at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium ATS in Monrovia. Barrolle won the tournament and walked away with a giant trophy.
While in Liberia, Mrs. Kandakai and family are expected to hold talks with government officials, heads of sporting organizations, and leaders of youth groups in Monrovia’s slum communities to understand their needs.
