Jirani Mwema Darts trophy was held over the weekend at Holili Township. This annual tournament is held to foster friendship between the two neighbouring countries of Tanzania and Kenya. Eight teams took part in the competition held on 5th and 6th June. Teams from four regions were represented – Arusha, Moshi, Holili and Taveta.

Moonlight Darts Club was the only representative from Arusha region. In a round Robin format Moonlight Darts B team reached the semi finals coming through as winners of Group A. In the semi finals they thrashed Holili A 19-4 to reach the finals.

In the other semi finals Magereza Moshi A played versus Taveta Prisons A. Taveta came through with a score of 19-16.

In the final Taveta Prisons A team met Moonlight Darts B team. A very exciting final resulted in Moonlight coming through with a score of 19-14.

Moonlight Darts Club was represented by Zoeb Kaley, Abizer Kurban, Fred Mshanga, Silas Malle, Kimati John, Joshua Usa, Edson Natai, Gody Mshanga, Nico Kessy, Frank Kipanya, Dickson, Godwin, Seperatus and Ibrahim.
