    The national cohesion and integration commission is cautioning leaders against ethicizing the vetting process for top judicial jobs saying it will divide Kenyans along tribal lines.

    NCIC commissioner Halakhe Waqo says the public office positions are not community jobs but national ones. He was speaking ahead of the expected debate on whther on not Keriako Tobiko will be approved as the director of public prosecutions following recommendations by the CIOC that he be investigated further over alleagtions of corruption and incompetence.

    MPs who are supposed to have the final say are divided with some saying they support Tobikos appointment and others rejecting him.
