He said because many Ghanaians have lost hope and trust in the ruling NDC and NPP, there is the need for the Interim Management Committee of the PNC to stop their litigations and take advantage of the prevailing political development to organize the party ahead of the 2012 general elections.
Posterity will not forgive the party if they failed to seize this opportunity, Mr. Fatchu said in a statement issued to the media in Bolgatanga.
He said a recent poll which put the PNC at 2% in terms of popularity is an indication that Ghanaians are beginning to show interest in the party and will like to see some seriousness to encourage them to vote for it in 2012.
The same opinion poll, according to Mr. Fatchu, exposed a drop in percentage point for the NDC and CPP, while the NPP remained stagnant, all as a result of lack of direction and ideas.
He noted that though the PNC had not undertaken any serious political activity in recent times the 2 point percentage growth, showed that if the party could end its internal struggle and organize its structures at all levels, the party has a brighter chance of winning the 2012 general elections.

National Convention is the only true Nkrumahist party and issues based party. The party is not characterized by deceptiveness like the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party, both of whom refuse to even give credit where it is due. An example is the adoption of the School Feeding Programme, National Health Insurance and the GET-Fund, all which originated from the Peoples’ National Convention,’ he said.
