Members of the Kombo North Children and Youth Development Association (KNCYDA) recently participated in the file updating of the sponsored children under the Kombo North Federation. The activity was held at the Federation grounds in Bijilo, and included filling of service cards, the filling of number two forms, and writing of sponsored mails, among others.
The Kombo North Federation sponsored relation officer, Haddy T. Gaye expressed the Federation’s gratitude for the young peoples’ participation in the sponsored relation activities. She explained that the main aim of the activity was to strengthen the relationship between sponsors and the children while reducing the rate of cancellation in the Federation.
Demba Kuyateh, the Child and Youth officer of the Federation said the participation of young people in the activity was a fulfillment of a promise they made to the Federation to fully participate in all sponsored relation activities.
Joseph Demba, the Kombo North Federation manager thanked both the staff of his Federation and the young people of the district for their participation in supporting the Federation’s sponsored relation activities.
