QPR goalkeeper Radek Cerny has agreed a new one-year contract extension with the club as they prepare for their first Premier League season for 15 years.
Neil Warnock has told the former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper the deal will be waiting for him in west London after the 37-year-old was prepared to cut short a family holiday to sign his new contract.
“Radek’s been great back-up for Rangers – and he deserves this extension to his contract,” Warnock said.
“It says something he was willing to come all the way back here to sort it now.
“But I’ve told him he needs to enjoy the break and he can sign when he gets back.”
Cerny is the second QPR player to be offered a new contract after Heidar Helguson signed an extension last week.
Warnock added: “All player business now will focus on new signings. Everyone here already has existing contracts that will take care of them for next season.”
