FOROYAA Newspaper (Serrekunda) Sulayman Bah 13 June 2011 Norwegian giants, Stabeak, has joined the race for Gambian striker Amadou Jawo who is unhappy for his lack of playing time at Elfsborg. A host of Swedish clubs have confirmed their interest in the forward with Kebba Ceesay's Djurgardens closely monitoring the situation.

Aziz Corr Nyang’s BP went top of the table courtesy of a Degerfors’s slip-up to Varnamo on Saturday.

BP needed a win to leapfrog Degerfors at the summit of the league on goal difference. With luck on their side, the promotion chasing side progressed to the apex of the table since the start of the league. On loan Aziz was as usual a regular for Bromma and helped set up the second goal. Pinonense-Arce who scored twice in the rampage against Qviding last weekend, again got on the score sheet and is now equal on goals with Aziz Corr Nyang.

Pinonese-Arce opened the goal floodgate with his third and the game’s first. Milko Albonez put him through in the 32nd minute to fire in the opener. Four minutes later, Eriksson made it 2-0 for Aziz’s side, after he was set up by the Gambian.

Brage came close to reducing the deficit, but they thwarted the chance, Bjorkstrom went ahead to hammer home the last nail on the coffin at stoppage time.

Defender Mohammed Mbye’s Assyriska were beaten 2-1 atAvidaberg on the same day in the second tier, and the defeat saw them slipped to joint second on the table, a point behind leaders, BP.

Pa Dembo Touray’s Djurgarden languished at the bottom of the table with five points in ten games. Omar Jawo’s Syriac was held to a draw yesterday, and are four step above the relegation zone.
