Iacam, Interior Ministry Promote Cinema

    Luanda — The Angolan Institute of Cinema, Audiovisual and Multimedia (Iacam) in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and the General Command of National Police promote from 14 to 16 June, in Luanda, a film session in the police units.

    According to a press release sent Friday to ANGOP the programme aims at the revival and promotion of Angolan cinema and the prospect of obtaining “new audience”.

    In a first experience the cycle aims to provide the actual quartered members the occupation of their leisure and cultural activities to bring the message of awareness and redemption of moral and civic values.

    The films featured are “Série policial 113” by director Tomás Ferreira and “Operação Kwanza”, a documentary of filmmaker Nguxi dos Santos.
