For some artistes, it can take years to build a solid fan base and get connections or links but this is not the case of D-Black. D-Black is all over nowadays and flies Ghana’s flag everywhere.
It is not easy to get a verse of Jim Jones aka the ‘Capo’ on your song, so it makes one wonder how D-Black was so lucky to get to collaborate with him on song produced by Eric Kwabena “Coptic” Matlock.
Coptic has also produced songs for P. Diddy, Notorious BIG, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Beanie Segal, G-Dep, Jermaine Dupri, KRS-One, Black Rob, Mase, Memphis Bleek, Carl Thomas, Ice Cube and more top US musicians.
The song, “‘Bang ‘Em Down'” is fresh off the streets. Oh man, this joint is yet to be released. Get on your headphones and start nodding your head as soon Ghana Music.com puts it up.
The 2011 BET Award nominee takes it easy on his verse whiles Jim Jones goes hard on his part in a soft tone.
Jim Jones shot to stardom by creating a world renowned hip hop movement as C.E.O. of Diplomat Records. Jim Jones has sold well over 1.1 million copies. His albums also spawned hits like “Certified Gangstas”, “We Fly High”, “Crunk Muzik” and many more.
With D-Black undertaking so many things he is still hard at work on his 2nd studio album, which has not yet been titled.
