10 June 2011 Luena — FC Bravos do Maquis will try to beat ASA on Saturday in Luena district's Mundunduleno stadium in the eastern Moxico province, in the 12th round of the national first division football championship (Girabola2011), in order to calm the fans on the crisis experienced by the club. FC Bravos do Maquis is facing a managing crisis caused by lack of consensus among officials in charge of the team. This crisis has already provoked the resignation of the coach Augusto Portela, by alleging the interference of the managing board in his work

Luanda — Interclube’s basketball team player Jorge Tati, who has been called up by coach Michel Gomes for the national squad, the possibility of participating in the African championship (Afrobasket2011) motivates him to work hard aiming at being part of the main squad.

Speaking to ANGOP, the 28-year old player manifested his satisfaction at being called up for this continental mission and pledged to correspond to the expectations.

“Each one will give its best to be among the 12. At the moment we are all in the same circumstance” he stressed.

Afrobasket2011 will be disputed on 17-28 August in Antananarivo, Madagascar.

Angola is in group B, with Chad, Morocco and Senegal.
