Manchester City’s Belgian starlet Dedryck Boyata could be on his way to Everton after his father admitted the Toffees are interested in signing the defender on loan.
Boyata struggled for first-team football last season with an array of defensive talent currently on the books at Manchester City, and is attracting interest from both Bolton Wanderers and Everton.
However, whilst the prospect of a move to Goodison Park appears to entice the youngster, he is not interested in moving to Bolton, as part of a deal that would see Gary Cahill move the other way.
“There was talk of a swap with Gary Cahill at Bolton, but Dedryck does not want to go there,” Bienvenu Boyata said in an article in the Daily Mail.
“Everton are showing interest in him as well, and they are very much an option for him.”
Boyata made 16 appearances for Manchester City last season as part of a successful side that claimed third place in the Premier League as well as the FA Cup.
