Mr. Friday Godspower, a 31 year-old man who is currently out of gainful employment stunned Lagos Customary Court when he accused his wife, Mrs. Ekaette Godspower of being a Flirt, destructive, insolent and violence.
Friday who claimed to have met Ekaette almost 4years ago and their union is blessed with a 3 year-old daughter (Precious) despite the fact that they have separate for quite a while.
He however alleged that his wife lacks care for their daughter and also disrespect members of his family a lot.
He added that Ekaette was very peaceful before she suddenly changed to something else, adding that Ekaette is the kind of woman that would slap him in his face, just to stir up a fight.
“I remember a day she returned from work and she gave me dirty slap, I was playing with my little daughter when she stormed my room half naked (with pants and bra) she held onto my penis and pulled me with it, I had to bite her severally before she let go. Three weeks later my penis could not function properly”, he said.
He claimed that he had just acquired an apartment of N500, 000 when he lost his job two months later.
He urged the court to dissolve the marriage in view of the reasons he mentioned earlier.
In her defence, 28year-old Ekaette who claimed to be an Executive Manager of a Travel agency based in Victoria Island, Lagos denied all allegations and informed the court there is no more love existing between her and Friday anymore, because he has not been taking care of her and their little daughter.
She also alleged that her husband is a thief, 419ner and a liar. “My husband has duped many people including Banks and whenever his victims came to look for him, they always meet me at home, and make trouble with me” she claimed.
She informed the court that Friday is homosexual and also indulged in bad habits that tarnished her image as his wife.
“But, when I reported him to my parents and our church pastor, they advised me to take things easy”she said.
She said that she has been responsible for the upbringing of their child, because friends and family members have been helping her husband to pay house rent he owed their landlord.
Meanwhile, the court president Mr. Emmanuel Shokunle adjourned the case till June 21, 2011 for judgment.
