King scored for Coventry against Birmingham in last season’s FA Cup |
Birmingham City are closing in on the signing of Coventry City striker Marlon King, reports BBC WM.
The 31-year-old is understood to have passed a medical at Birmingham on Thursday and is expected to sign a three-year contract.
His advisor, Tony Finnigan, recently played down claims by Coventry that a verbal agreement had been reached to keep the player at the Ricoh Arena.
King, Coventry’s top scorer in 2010/11, is out of contract this summer.
