Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez has once again refused to make a decision on his future at Eastlands, despite speculation of his imminent departure.

The 27-year-old is currently in Argentina spending time with family, where he has organised a charity golf tournament to raise money for his local community in Buenos Aires.

However, despite auctioning off a trip to see him play for Manchester City next season, there remains no guarantee that Tevez himself will be on show in the sky blue shirt.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Tevez said: “Yes, there is a prize to come over to Manchester to watch a game but that doesn’t mean anything – it could still change.

“Maybe the trip will end up being to somewhere else in Europe or Argentina. I don’t know. But for now I’ve got a contract with Manchester City, so that’s where the trip is to.”

The former Manchester United forward is due to report for international duty in the coming weeks ahead of next month’s Copa America, which his native Argentina is playing host to.

After that, Tevez believes it will be even harder to return to Premier League action following an extended period with his family.

“It is great being here but it is going to be even more difficult going back now,” he continued.

“I’m enjoying spending time with my family but it will be tough to go back.”
