Barcelona striker Bojan Krkic could follow Luis Enrique to Roma, claims his agent Zoran Vekic, but warned it’s the Catalans who will ultimately decide his future.
Krkic, 20, has been linked with numerous clubs including Roma, Arsenal, Villarreal and Udinese. The latter three as part of a deal for Cesc Fabregas, Giuseppe Rossi or Alexis Sanchez.
But his agent feels the Serie A side would be perfect for him as he knows Enrique well from his time as coach of Barcelona B.
The former Spanish midfielder arrived in Rome on Friday as he gets ready to sign a two-year deal, and it has given rise to reports he may bring Krkic over with him once he designs a transfer plan.
And those suggestions have been welcomed by the agent.
“Luis Enrique and Bojan know each other and so he would certainly like to come to Roma,” Vekic told Il Corriere dello Sport.
“It would be a perfect marriage, but we have to wait. We have to be careful because the decision is down to Barcelona.
“The player’s father would prefer not to speak with anyone. He works for Barcelona and he does not want things to become confused, so he has ordered total silence.”

Krkic has 2015 deal at Camp Nou which contains a €100 million (£88 million) buy-out clause.
