Luena — At least 63 people were arrested by the National Police in May this year in eastern Moxico province, in connection of 59 crimes, Angop learned Thursday here.
This is 12 less than the number of crimes recorded in April this year.
According to a note from the Provincial Command of the National Police, 55 of those arrested are unemployed.
Physical offence, murder, firearm threat, robbery, fraud, money forgery and breach of trust are the main types of crimes committed.
The district of Moxico (headquarters) tops the list with 50 cases, followed by Alto-Zambeze and Luau.
